Meet Our Chief Wrangler
Marla Hoskins is President of The Testimonial Wrangler. In a career spanning over 25 years, she has led the marketing efforts of some of the nation’s savviest marketers, including Time-Life, Intuit and MCI. She has also held senior level positions with leading agencies, including Lintas Campbell–Ewald and Barry Blau & Partners.
In 2006, Marla recognized that many companies were missing out on the power of testimonial advertising because they lacked the staff resources – and the know-how – to conduct testimonial drives. In 2006, she founded The Testimonial Wrangler to provide advertisers, agencies and production companies with a turn-key testimonial solution.
Today The Testimonial Wrangler assists a broad range of clients with recruiting, screening and shooting testimonials, including Hawthorne Direct, Mayhew-Breen, AARP, Trendwest Resorts, PayCycle.com, TurboTax, 1-800-Medicine and many others.
Marla is active in the Direct Marketing Association and is a frequent speaker at industry events in the U.S. and abroad. She was twice voted Most Valued Speaker at Direct Focus: North America – a high-tech direct marketing conference. She is also the recipient of three DMA Echo Awards for DRTV spots she produced.
Marla is also the author of the TV chapter in The New Marketing Conversation: Creating and Strengthening Relationships Between Buyers and Sellers. She is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany and completed two years of postgraduate studies at Columbia University in New York.
